When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.
I think a lot of us are prone to looking at the past. Heck, when you are in the business of antiques you can’t get out of the way when it comes to spending time looking at the past.
Upcycling can help you live in the now. The joy of planning a new destination, once that old door has been closed.
Before you know it. Tomorrow is today, and today is now. And, now we have opened a whole world of possibilities just by creating a new door.
Maybe there is a lesson in there somewhere?
Or, maybe there is just a really cool cabinet, kitchen table or front porch swing to be had! Either way, if you need someone to put a shine on an old door, or you need some help repurposing; give a shout to Chagnon Designs or send a message on Facebook.

I’m a bit obsessed with The Doors lately. I have two antiques, circa 1800’s waiting for me to make them into something fabulous! (who am I kidding? I have had them for 6 months. I’ll be calling Chagnon Designs)
